Jerrica proudly calls herself a Hospitality Extraordinaire, and with good reason. Her career in the hospitality and event industry spans every role imaginable, from housekeeping and dishwashing to serving, bartending, managing, and full-scale event planning. That hands-on experience gives her a deep understanding of how every detail works together to create a seamless guest experience. At Scott Conference Center, there truly is no task too small or beneath her when it comes to making your event exceptional.

After earning her degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Jerrica transitioned into a full-time Banquet Manager and Wedding Planner role with Chez Hay Catering. Since then, she has spent more than 15 years professionally planning events across Nebraska and Colorado, overseeing everything from elegant weddings to large-scale corporate events and social gatherings.

Jerrica thrives in high-energy event environments and is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach. She has a unique ability to spot potential issues before they arise and quietly resolve them without guests ever knowing there was a hiccup. Her ultimate goal is simple: to ensure clients feel relaxed, confident, and fully present on their big day. Seeing couples, hosts, and guests happy and at ease is what motivates her most.

At SCC, Jerrica brings leadership, adaptability, and a deep passion for hospitality to every event she manages. Her extensive background allows her to anticipate needs, support her team, and deliver polished, well-executed events that exceed expectations.

Outside of work, Jerrica enjoys antiquing and thrifting, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and cuddling with her pups. She’s also an avid traveler who loves discovering new destinations through great food.

Came here to see Dr. Neal Barnard speak and I was impressed with the whole building. VERY clean, smells very fresh. The parking is ample and FREE which I very much appreciated. The chairs in the large banquet room were very comfortable. The sound quality was great too and the large TVs made it easy to watch the presentation. The bathrooms were clean and well cared for during the event also. Overall very impressed with this place compared to some conference halls I've been to. Recommend for sure.
