Q: Where is parking located and do we have to pay?
A: Lot 9 is exclusively used for SCC guests and provided at no cost. It is located directly south across Pine Street from our main entrance.

Q: Is Wifi included?
A: Of course! Wifi is available throughout the conference center.

Q: Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
A: Absolutely! When you send in your final numbers a week prior to the event, please let us know how many guests have a need for special plates, including: vegetarians, gluten free, nut allergies, dairy free, vegan, etc.

Q: Are you able to connect to Zoom and/or other streaming platforms for our meeting?
A: Of course! Our AV team is wonderful and ready to help set up your event virtually.

Q: Can we send our packaging/posters/centerpieces ahead of time?
A: We will accept packages for your event no more than 2 days prior to the event. Please be sure your event name and date are on the tag. Packages must be taken with you at the end of the event or pick up arranged within 2 days. Other arrangements can be made with your event coordinator.

Q: Can we stop in any time to see the space and ask questions?
A: We are more than happy to show you around the space and answer any questions. We do recommend you make an appointment with your event coordinator to guarantee the availability of the space.

Q: Can we take any leftover food with us at the end of the event?
A: Scott Conference Center believes in guaranteeing that our clients will not run out of food based on the guaranteed guest count, provided it is similar to the actual turnout. In an effort to maintain this guarantee, there should be some food remaining at the end of every event. In the interest of food quality and state regulations, this food is property of SCC and cannot be removed from the premise by client or any guest for any reason.

Q: We have a small event, can we bring in our own alcohol?
A: 1316 Jones Street does hold the liquor license for SCC. All alcoholic beverages must be provided by them. Outside alcohol found during event may lead to SCC ending your event early.

Q: Can I host my wedding here?
A: Yes! We love hosting weddings! Most comfortable capacity for a wedding reception with dance floor is 400 guests. Please ask an event coordinator for more information.

Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: To ensure the best quality food for you and your guests, we do not allow outside food be brought in.

Q: What are the closest hotels?
A: Within walking distance you can find both a Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott. A close drive away is Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Aloft Omaha.

Q: I’m currently nursing. Do you have a space I can do this during our event?
A: Yes! Right next to our women’s restroom is a nursing room, equipped with a mini refrigerator, comfortable chair, close plug-ins, bottled water, and a sink.

Q: You guys rock! Can I write a review or fill out a survey about you?
A: Yes please! We love getting reviews on Google, The Knot, Wedding Wire, or our Facebook page! If you’d like to fill out our post event survey, you can click here!
