Today, meet the talented wedding coordinators who help make every celebration unforgettable: Jerrica and Lily.

Meet Jerrica, Wedding Coordinator & Hospitality Expert

Jerrica proudly calls herself a “Hospitality Extraordinaire” and it’s easy to see why. Her career in the hospitality and event industry spans nearly every role imaginable, from housekeeping and dishwashing to serving, bartending, management, and full-scale event planning. This hands-on experience gives her a deep understanding of how every detail works together to create a seamless and memorable guest experience.

After earning her degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Jerrica stepped into a full-time Banquet Manager and Wedding Planner role with Chez Hay Catering. Since then, she has spent more than 15 years planning weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings across Nebraska and Colorado.

Jerrica thrives in fast-paced environments and is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach. She has a natural ability to anticipate challenges before they arise and resolve them seamlessly. Often without guests ever noticing. Her goal is simple: to ensure every couple feels relaxed, confident, and fully present on their wedding day.

At Scott Conference Center, Jerrica brings leadership, adaptability, and a deep passion for hospitality to every event she manages. Her experience allows her to support both clients and team members while delivering polished, well-executed events that exceed expectations.

Outside of work, Jerrica enjoys antiquing, thrifting, and working on creative projects. Filling her cup by spending time with her nieces and nephews and relaxing with her two pups, Jack and Liza. She also loves traveling and exploring new destinations through food.

Meet Lily, Wedding Coordinator & Guest Experience Specialist

Lily brings a genuine passion for people and connection to her role at Scott Conference Center, helping create warm, welcoming wedding experiences in Omaha. She finds fulfillment in watching guests relax, connect, and celebrate meaningful moments together.

Her journey in hospitality began at the Campus Grind while attending college on the UNO Scott Campus. There, she developed a strong foundation in customer service and learned how thoughtful details and friendly interactions can shape the overall guest experience. After earning her degree in Marketing, Lily continued her career on campus by joining the team at Scott Conference Center, where she expanded her expertise in event services and guest relations.

Lily is known for her calm, approachable energy and attentive nature. Whether she’s assisting with timelines, answering questions, or supporting guests during an event, she creates an environment where people feel comfortable and cared for. Her presence helps ensure that each wedding runs smoothly while allowing couples and their guests to fully enjoy the celebration.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring local coffee shops, and discovering hidden gems at thrift stores around Omaha.
