How to use the Wireless Display unit (Solstice Pod)

The wireless display unit (Solstice Pod) available in the Scott Conference Center Omaha Room makes it easy to share your screen without cables. Follow the steps below to connect your device and start presenting in seconds.

Step 1: Download the Solstice App

Install the Solstice app on your device before connecting.

  • Windows

  • macOS

  • Android

  • iOS

Step 2: Connect to Wi-Fi

Connect your device to the ScottConferenceCenter Wi-Fi network.

Tip: Your device must be on this network to connect to the wireless display unit (Solstice Pod).

Step 3: Connect to the Solstice Pod

Open the Solstice app and enter the IP address shown on the display into the Connect to a Display search bar.

When prompted, enter the on-screen key to complete the connection.

Step 4: Share Your Screen

Choose what you’d like to present:

  • Full desktop

  • A specific window

  • Media or files

Your content will appear instantly on the screen.

Step 5: Stop Sharing When Finished

When your presentation ends:

  • Click Stop Sharing at the top of your screen for desktop sharing, or

  • Select Stop Sharing within the Solstice app for window sharing
